It is March 2nd 2014 which means it is time to announce the next 'Song of the Week'.
Residing in Glasgow, Scotland is Kyle Charles James Burgess (vocals / guitar), Taylor White (guitar / vocals), Rob Whytock (bass / backing vocals) and Harrison White (drums), better known as We Came From Wolves.
We Came From Wolves have been showing their alternative rock music to the world since mid 2010. And, with two United Kingdom tours under their belts, along with three prior singles found on BBC Radio One's station, well, "the band are headed for even more success".
The guys released their debut EP, titled Cope, on September 24th 2012. Packed with five original songs, Cope provided fans with unforgettable rhythms, well written lyrics and more. And, of course, fans could not get enough. Infact, the band has already received [just over] ten thousand views for the official music for the EPs title track on their Youtube Channel thus far.
Since the release of their debut EP, in 2012, We Came From Wolves have been busy preparing for their upcoming release, another EP, due out in just a few [short] days.
Their newest EP, titled Paradise Place, is set to be officially released to fans tomorrow, on March 3rd 2014. And, having watched the short 'teaser' video the guys released back in October of 2013, it is obvious this will definitely be an EP to watch out for this year. Plus, the final track on the EP, titled Away To Live Forever, undoubtedly earns this week's 'Song of the Week' spot as well.
The band has received unbelievable support and recognition from industry individuals all around the world. BBC Radio One's Ally McCrae calls the band's music "catchy, summery pop/rock", Jim Gellatly, from Amazing Radio, says, "The band is proof that rock music is alive and well". Plus, Amazing Radio's Aaron Phillips also added to the band's praise, agreeing that their music has "big choruses and big hooks!".
With the release of Paradise Place set for tomorrow, We Came From Wolves are ready to show their newest music off to their fans. On the band's Facebook page, the guys state that Paradise Place will show a "progression in songwriting, musicianship and deliverance".
So, be sure to get your hands on a copy of We Came From Wolves' newest EP, Paradise Place, tomorrow. And, be prepared to hear a lot more from this very talented band in the near future.
